Octavius |
Octavius 4108A
Octavius is a bright, athletic African American male born 10/98. Naturally
curious, he enjoys learning and does well in school where he is in a regular
classroom setting. Octavius is actively involved in his current school through
participation in sports. He plays football and basketball and runs track.
Octavius’ goal is to attend college and he hopes an athletic scholarship will
help him achieve this goal. An open and honest youth, Octavius feels content in
his current living situation and school placement but he is tempted by the
prospect of his very own permanent family. An active family, who is willing to
support and further Octavius’ pursuit of his athletic and academic goals, is
sought. A family receptive to Octavius maintaining contact with a sibling placed
separately is desired. |

Yusannah
4055A
Yusannah, an African American female born 2/96, is hopeful she will find an
active adoptive family that will love being involved in her busy life! As a
member of the school choir, Yusannah particularly enjoyed the choir’s occasional
concert performances. Building on these experiences, Yusannah seized the
opportunity to attend a performing arts summer camp where she excelled in
singing and dancing in the camp show. Yusannah also likes to make jewelry, go
for a swim or out for the occasional shopping expedition. Currently requiring
supportive services educationally, Yusannah’s long-term goals include either
cosmetology or early childhood education. A family able to provide Yusannah with
the supervision and guidance she will need to enable her to move toward
independence and self-sufficiency is sought. |

continues to receive tutoring and counseling services to address issues stemming
from a troubling past. Devan’s adoptive family will also need to support him in
